The American School of Grenoble (ASG) was founded in 1993 as a response to the needs of the English-speaking business community of the Grenoble area.
Today, ASG is an internationally accredited, independent, college preparatory secondary school, providing an excellent education to the English-speaking expatriate community of the Grenoble area. ASG is non-denominational, non-profit coeducational and governed by an active Board of Directors. ASG creates a scholastic environment that enables students to develop knowledge, learning skills and curiosity to become international citizens of an open, evolving world.
Our main objectives are to provide a high quality education - based on the American model and taught in English, enabling students between 10 and 18 years of age to reintegrate into English-speaking school systems and to prepare high school students for higher education around the world. In addition, we provide a structure in which students will acquire the benefits of cultural, linguistic and intellectual diversity.

A Quality Education
Our college preparatory curriculum culminates with the American high school diploma. It includes Humanities, Social Sciences, Math, Sciences, Communication, French and various electives. Our small student-teacher ratio enables the teachers to tailor their teaching to meet the needs of individual students.
