High School students from the American School of Grenoble & Cite Scolaire Internationale are participating in a Model United Nations Conference in Lyon in January 2018.A Model United Nations is an extra-curricular activity in which students debate issues in circmstances very similar to UN conferences and committees. Thousands of middle school, high school, and college students around the world participate in Model United Nations.
The Conference is organized by the International School of Lyon and the Cité Scolaire Internationale of Lyon and is being held at the prestigious Hôtel de Région (in Lyon).
The Theme chosen for ILYMUN 2018 is “Cities” . As the global population continues to grow, action must be taken so that we can reach the UN-Habitat’s vision of a new urban future.
